Carnew Iron Crafts started in 1982 by the Flood family, Johan, Tony and his wife Roisin.

They first started with a small workshop manufacturing wrought iron goods such as gates, railings, garden furniture and craft items. At the same time they also manufactured items for the local farming industry such as sheep and cattle feeders.

By the end of the eighties this progressed to manufacturing items for the catering industry, supplying  not only trade, but also direct to the customer.

In 2001 they opened a new purpose built manufacturing plant containing high-tech machinery such as a plasma cutter, computerised brake press and up to date welding equipment.

Carnew Iron Crafts is registered for vat.
